Troubleshooting Signing
A signer cannot complete signing
Check:
- all required fields are complete
- required checkboxes are checked
- signer verification has been completed
- the request has not expired or been cancelled
A recipient says the link does not work
Check:
- the request status
- recipient email address
- whether the request was resent
- whether the recipient needs to finish account verification first
A signer already completed their part but reopened the link
Clear Ideas should show the completed state, not restart the signing ceremony. If the session appears inconsistent, have the sender resend or review the request status.
A request is expired or declined
The sender should review the request and resend or recreate it as needed.
