Site View
A Site Page in the Clear Ideas App is a dynamic interface where users can view and interact with all the files and folders that are part of a site, offering a comprehensive overview of the site's contents.
Viewing Options
List View: The default setting that displays files and folders in a straightforward list format.
Tile View: Showcases larger icons and thumbnails for supported content, providing a visual representation that can enhance browsing and content management.
Interactive Features
Sort: When in Tile View, users can click the sort icon to enable drag-and-drop sorting. This feature allows users to customize the default order of content, ideal for arranging files before applying hierarchical numbering.
New Folder Button: Opens a dialog to create new folders, helping users organize their content efficiently.
Upload Button: Facilitates file uploads. Users can also drag and drop files onto the upload button or directly into any folder present on the current view for quick and seamless file addition.
Refresh: Retrieve the latest content from the server.
Navigation
- Folders: Click on any folder to view its contents. To return to a parent folder or the main site view, use the breadcrumb navigation at the top of the page.
Additional Tabs:
- Latest: Displays the most recent content in reverse chronological order, allowing users to quickly access new additions.
- Users: Enables site administrators to view and manage user access and permissions for the site. See Managing Users.
- Settings: Provides access to site settings for further customization and management. See Overview of Site Settings.
Navigation Controls:
- Page Size and Navigation: Options at the bottom of the page allow users to adjust how much content is displayed on one page and navigate forward or backward through pages, offering control over the viewing experience.
Information Icons
Information icons are displayed for each item in a site. They provide immediate access to additional information about an item. Many of the items are visible to owners and administrators only.
Bookmark Toggle
- The file or folder is not currently bookmarked.
- You can bookmark the file by clicking on the icon.
Bookmark Toggle
- The file or folder is currently bookmarked.
- You can bookmark the file by clicking on the icon.
Encrypted File
- The file is encrypted.
- Content indexing, watermarking and/or viewer functionality may be reduced.
Context Menu
- Toggle for menu for additional functions including: copying a link to a file or folder, downloading a file, deleting a file or folder, renaming a file or folder, moving a file or folder or editing the tags for an item.
- Menu changes depending on the permissions for a user.
Content Indexing Statuses:
Content Indexing Pending
- Content type supports content indexing and is currently pending indexing.
- Content indexing is not currently queued.
Content Indexed for Search
- Content has been indexed and is available to full-text search and AI Chat.
Content Indexing Failed
- Content type is supported by content indexing however an error occurred while processing.
- This is likely as a result of an error, encryption or unprocessable content in the file.
Content Indexing Unsupported
- Content type is not supported for content indexing.
Content Indexing Supported
- Content type supports content indexing however indexing is not currently queued.
- Full-text search and AI Chat features may be disabled.
Content Indexing Limited
- Content has been indexed and is available to full-text search and AI Cha.
- Due to the size of the extracted text, indexing has been limited.
- The entire file may not be indexed.
Content Indexing Limited
- Content type supports content indexing and is currently queued.
AI Summary Statuses:
AI Summary Pending
- Content type supports content indexing and is currently pending.
AI Summary Available
- An AI Summary is available.
- Clicking on the icon will take you directly to the AI Summary tab of the file viewer.
AI Summary Failed
- An error occurred while generating the AI Summary.
AI Summary Unspported
- AI Summary is not supported for the file.
