Create a Signature Request

To create a signature request:

  1. Open a PDF file in Clear Ideas.
  2. Go to the Sign tab.
  3. Choose New Signature Request.
  4. Enter a request title and optional message.
  5. Add one or more recipients.
  6. Choose routing mode:
    • Sequential for ordered signing
    • Parallel for independent signing
  7. Choose signer authentication requirements.
  8. Save the draft or send the request immediately.

Notes

  • Signature requests are created from PDFs.
  • The original source document is pinned for the request.
  • Signing terms, when configured, are pulled from your Signing Request Defaults.
  • Organization policy can provide default signing terms, lock those terms, or disable signing request creation entirely.
  • Team plans and above are intended for production signing workflows.
