Use Site Settings > PDF Options to control PDF printing behavior inside a Site.

What PDF Options Controls

The current PDF Options settings cover printing controls for the PDF viewer:

  • whether printing is enabled at all
  • which Site roles are allowed to print

This is separate from watermark settings. Use Watermarks when you want printed or viewed files to carry visible identity markers.

Configure Printing

From Site Settings > PDF Options:

  1. Turn Print Enabled on or off.
  2. If printing is enabled, choose the roles allowed to print.
  3. Save the changes.

When to Use This Setting

Use PDF Options when you want to:

  • allow printing only for trusted roles
  • block printing in highly controlled Sites
  • separate print permissions from broader view permissions
