Maintain List: Keep your blocked sites list current and relevant.
Communication
Inform Owners: Consider informing site owners if you're blocking their sites (optional).
Alternative Solutions: For important sites, consider adjusting notification preferences instead of blocking.
Temporary vs Permanent: Distinguish between temporarily blocked sites and permanently blocked ones.
Organization
Document Reasons: Note why sites are blocked if you might need to reference later.
Review Access: Periodically verify you can still access blocked sites if needed via direct links.
Limitations
Site Administration
Admin Rights: If you're a site administrator, blocking may have different implications.
Own Sites: You typically cannot block sites you own or administer.
Organization Sites: Organization policies may affect blocking capabilities.
Notifications
Complete Suppression: Blocking suppresses all notifications - you can't selectively enable some.
No Partial Blocking: You can't block only certain types of notifications from a site.
Alternative: Use site-specific notification settings instead of blocking for partial suppression.
