As an organization member, understand your membership details, how organization policies affect your settings, and how to work effectively within your organization's constraints. View membership information through Settings > Organization > Organization Membership.

Viewing Membership Details

Navigate to Settings > Organization > Organization Membership to view:

Organization Information

Organization Name: Your organization's name

Display: Shows the official organization name

Identification: Helps identify which organization you belong to

Administrator Contact

Administrator: Organization administrator contact information

Name: Administrator's name

Email: Administrator's email address (clickable mailto link)

Purpose: Contact administrator for account management, policy questions, or support

Organization ID

Display: Organization identifier (if details are not fully loaded)

Reference: Used for support and administrative purposes

Understanding Organization Policies

View how organization policies affect your account through Settings > Organization > Organization Policies.

Policy Summary

The policy summary displays:

AI Features Policy: Which AI features are enabled/disabled by organization

Search Policy: Search capabilities controlled by organization

Signing Request Policy: Whether members can create signature requests and whether organization signing terms apply

Enforcement Mode: Whether policies are strict (mandatory) or non-strict (defaults)

Policy Indicators: Visual indicators showing policy control

Policy Indicators

Throughout the application, policy indicators show when organization policies affect settings:

Policy Icon: Small icon indicates organization policy control

Tooltip Information: Hover over indicators for details about the policy

Color Coding: Different colors indicate policy type or enforcement level

Understanding Policy Control

Organization Controlled: Setting is controlled by organization policy (strict mode)

Organization Default: Setting uses organization default but can be modified (non-strict mode)

No Policy: No organization policy affects this setting

How Policies Affect Your Settings

Strict Enforcement Mode

When your organization uses strict enforcement:

Mandatory Settings: Organization policies override your personal settings

Cannot Override: You cannot change settings that conflict with organization policies

Visual Indicators: Settings show as disabled/locked with policy indicators

Complete Control: Organization administrators control all policy-affected settings

Non-Strict Enforcement Mode

When your organization uses non-strict enforcement:

Default Settings: Organization policies provide default settings

Can Modify: You can modify settings, but only to make them less permissive

Less Permissive Rule: You can disable features organization allows, but cannot enable features organization restricts

Visual Indicators: Settings show policy indicators but remain editable

Policy Application

Automatic: Policies are applied automatically to your settings

Immediate: Policy changes take effect immediately

Transparent: Policy indicators show which settings are affected

Effective Settings: You see the actual settings that apply (after policy application)
