# Organization Billing

View comprehensive billing information and usage statistics for your organization. Understand your plan costs, usage metrics, and how organization billing works. Access organization billing through Settings > Organization > Organization Billing.

## Accessing Organization Billing

Navigate to **Settings > Organization > Organization Billing** to view:

- Current plan and pricing
- Usage statistics
- Billing breakdown
- Seat utilization

**Permissions**: Only users with billing viewing permissions can access organization billing. Typically limited to Super Admins and Admins with billing access.

## Current Plan and Pricing

### Plan Information

The billing page displays your current plan:

**Plan Type**: Your organization's subscription plan (Team, Enterprise, etc.)

**Billing Frequency**: Monthly or annual billing cycle

**Currency**: Billing currency (USD, CAD, etc.)

**Total Cost**: Total monthly or annual cost

### Pricing Breakdown

Understand what you're paying for:

**Base Charge**: Base subscription cost for your plan

**Additional Seats**: Cost for seats beyond included seats (if applicable)

**Additional Indexed Pages**: Cost for indexed pages beyond plan limits (if applicable)

**Total**: Sum of all charges for your billing period

### Billing Frequency

**Monthly Plans**: Charged monthly on your billing date

**Annual Plans**: Charged annually on your billing date

**Proration**: Charges may be prorated for mid-cycle changes

## Usage Statistics

Monitor your organization's usage across key metrics:

### Active Users

**User Count**: Number of active users in your organization

**Display**: Shows current active users vs. total seats (included + additional)

**Progress Indicator**: Visual progress circle showing seat utilization percentage

**Usage**: `Active Users / (Included Seats + Additional Seats) × 100%`

### Storage Used

**Storage**: Total storage used across all organization sites

**Display**: Shows storage used in human-readable format (GB, TB, etc.)

**Progress Indicator**: Visual progress circle showing storage utilization

**Limit**: Compare against your plan's storage limit

**Overage**: Shows percentage over limit if exceeded

### Indexed Pages

**Indexed Content**: Total pages equivalent indexed across all sites

**Display**: Shows indexed pages count

**Progress Indicator**: Visual progress circle showing indexing utilization

**Limit**: Compare against your plan's indexed pages limit

**Overage**: Shows percentage over limit if exceeded

### Collaborators

**Collaborator Count**: Total number of collaborators across all organization sites

**Display**: Total collaborator count (may include external collaborators)

**Purpose**: Understand collaboration scope and external user engagement

### Total Sites

**Site Count**: Total number of sites in your organization

**Display**: Total sites created by organization members

**Tracking**: Monitor site creation and growth

### Total Files

**File Count**: Total number of files across all organization sites

**Display**: Aggregate file count

**Tracking**: Understand content volume and growth

## Understanding Usage Metrics

### Seat Utilization

**Included Seats**: Seats included in your base plan

**Additional Seats**: Seats purchased beyond included seats

**Used Seats**: Currently active organization members

**Available Seats**: Remaining capacity for new members

**Utilization**: Percentage of total seats being used

### Storage Metrics

**Total File Size**: Aggregate size of all files across organization sites

**File Size Limit**: Maximum storage allowed by your plan

**Utilization**: Percentage of storage limit used

**Overage**: Additional storage beyond plan limits (may incur charges)

### Indexing Metrics

**Total Indexed Pages**: Total pages processed for search and AI features

**Index Pages Limit**: Maximum indexed pages allowed by your plan

**Utilization**: Percentage of indexing limit used

**Overage**: Additional indexed pages beyond plan limits (may incur charges)

## Billing Permissions

### Who Can View Billing

**Super Admins**: Full access to all billing information

**Admins with Billing Access**: May have limited billing viewing permissions

**Regular Members**: Typically cannot view organization billing

**Billing Administrators**: Users specifically granted billing access

### Permission Levels

**View Only**: Can view billing but not modify

**Full Access**: Can view and manage billing, payment methods, and plans

**Restricted**: Limited to specific billing sections

## Organization vs Individual Billing

### Organization Billing

**Scope**: Covers all organization members and sites

**Charges**: Base plan, additional seats, indexed pages overages

**Payment**: Charged to organization payment method

**Management**: Managed by organization administrators

### Individual Billing

**Scope**: Personal account charges (if not part of organization)

**Charges**: Personal plan, AI credits, individual usage

**Payment**: Charged to personal payment method

**Separation**: Individual billing is separate from organization billing

### Relationship

**Independent**: Organization and individual billing are separate

**No Overlap**: Charges don't overlap between organization and individual accounts

**Member Benefits**: Organization members benefit from organization plan features

## Additional Charges

### Additional Seats

**When Charged**: When you exceed included seats and add more

**Cost**: Per-seat monthly charge

**Display**: Shown in pricing breakdown as "Additional Seats (X)"

**Calculation**: `Additional Seats × Per-Seat Monthly Rate`

### Additional Indexed Pages

**When Charged**: When indexed content exceeds plan limits

**Cost**: Per-page or per-thousand-pages monthly charge

**Display**: Shown in pricing breakdown if applicable

**Calculation**: Based on overage beyond included indexed pages

**At Capacity**: Cannot add members when all seats are used

**Upgrade Options**: Upgrade plan or purchase additional seats
