# Creating a Site with a Zip File: Getting Started Guide

Creating a site using a Zip file in the Clear Ideas App allows for seamless migration of data and efficient organization. Follow these steps to set up your site with a Zip file:

## Step-by-Step Guide

1. **Select "New Site"**

   - Start by clicking the “New Site” option in the app interface to initiate the creation process.

2. **Enter a Site Title**

   - Provide a meaningful name for your site that reflects its purpose or the audience it will serve. This helps in easy identification and organization.

3. **Create Site First**

   - Start by creating a new site using the "New Site" button.
   - Enter a meaningful name for your site that reflects the content you'll be importing.
   - Complete the site creation process to access the site.

4. **Upload Zip File**

   - Once in your site, upload your Zip file using the "Upload" button.
   - You can upload the Zip file to the site root or any folder.
   - Alternatively, drag and drop the Zip file directly onto the Upload button or into a folder.
   - The Zip file will appear in your content list once uploaded.

5. **Request Unzip**

   - Navigate to the uploaded Zip file in your content list.
   - Click on the file to open it, or use the file's action menu.
   - Look for the "Request Unzip" option or icon.
   - Click "Request Unzip" to initiate the extraction process.
   - The system will begin unzipping the file and indexing its contents. This process may take some time depending on the size and number of files.

6. **Wait for Processing**

   - The unzipping and indexing process happens in the background.
   - You can continue working on other tasks while the process completes.
   - The folder structure from your Zip file will be preserved during extraction.

7. **Notification of Completion**

   - You will receive a notification once the unzipping and indexing processes are complete.
   - The notification will appear in your notifications panel and may also be sent via email depending on your notification settings.
   - Once complete, all files and folders from the Zip will be available in your site.

8. **Review Extracted Content**

   - Navigate to the location where you uploaded the Zip file.
   - You'll find a new folder (or files) containing all the extracted content.
   - The folder structure from your Zip file is preserved, maintaining the original organization.
   - Review the extracted files to ensure everything was imported correctly.

9. **Continue Site Setup**

   - After reviewing the extracted content, proceed with the rest of the site setup steps.
   - Customize site settings as needed (privacy, notifications, etc.).
   - Organize or reorganize content if necessary.
   - The content structure from your Zip file is now available in Clear Ideas, ready for collaboration.
